Our family had a wonderful visit this past weekend. The kids LOVED the cabins, the bridge and the info/nature center. What a great surprise to find piles of firewood ready for our smores too :)
Great place for reunions and birthday parties Etc. The only drawback is they may want to reconsider the speed limit signs going into the area with the picnic tables and splash pad. The posted limit seems to be a tad too high for the condition of the road and the turns.
This is a great place to kayak normally, however since the storms the river is covered in downed trees. I started down the river and ended up getting out halfway, with the help of some very nice people who lived on the banks, because there were too many downed trees. But normally this park is perfect!
Nice little park, but they really need to improve their trail maps. Very vague. However the trails are well maintained.
Beautiful nature and great facilities. I'm a regular visitor.
